A citizen of the US and Lebanon is ready to invest in construction of a 25 megawatt solar power plant in Iran’s Kermanshah province, said the governor of the province Hushang Bazvand.
He noted that currently, experts in relevant bodies of Iran are studying the project before reaching a final agreement, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The foreign investor has been studying the possibility of implementing this project in Kermanshah province for around a year, said Bazvand.
It is planned to build the solar power plant near the city of Islamabad-e Gharb, on Kermanshah-Ravansar highway, according to the governor.
“Projects should be approved by relevant bodies and this work should be accelerated, because investors will not wait and go to other countries to make their investments,” he said.
The governor noted that investors should choose their employees among the local skilled workers and the governorship fully supports investors in this regard.
