Products worth $1.17B exported via Iranian Kermanshah province's customs

As many as 2.816 million tons of products worth $1.17 billion were declared and exported via three customs in Iran’s Kermanshah province in nine months of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), Director General of Kermanshah Customs Administration Khalil Heidari said in an interview with IRNA, Trend reports.

He said that 1.628 million tons of products worth $703 million were exported via Kermanshah customs of the province.

"This is a 35-percent increase in terms of value, compared to the same period last year and a 13 percent increase in terms of weight," he noted.

In the first nine months of the current year, Kermanshah customs ranked first in terms of exports among the customs offices of the province, he added.

During the reporting period, 864,224 tons of products worth over $363 million were exported via Parvizkhan customs, he said. Compared with the same period last year, this is an increase by 291 percent in terms of value and by 284 percent in terms of weight, he added.

Over the past nine months, 239,553 tons of products worth over $91 million have been exported via Khosravi customs, he said. This is a 60 percent increase in terms of weight and a 114 percent increase in terms of value compared to the same period last year, he noted.

He added that 84,311 tons of products worth over $17 million were also exported via the Paveh customs. This is an 11 percent increase in terms of value and a 293 percent increase in terms of weight compared to the same period last year, he said.

He added that household goods, detergents, fruits and vegetables, various ceramics, water conditioners and other products were mainly exported to Iraq via these customs.
