This year Turkmenistan's Turkmenkabel plant plans to launch the production of up to 100,000 single-phase electricity meters, Trend reports with reference to the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
The buyer of the products is Turkmenenergonadzor Enterprise, whose specialists replace in-house electromechanical induction meters with electronic ones, assembled in Ashgabat.
"Currently, the production of three-phase electronic meters is being prepared for a launch. Creation of conditions for testing the instruments in a certified laboratory of the Enterprise will allow improving the exports," the report says.
