Iran's IMIDRO increases coal production

In the first nine months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), coal concentrates production has increased in Central Alborz Coal Company and Tabas Coal Company, which are subsidiaries of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), Trend reports referring to a report on IMIDRO website.

During the reported period, the two companies produced 522,947 tons of coal concentrates, the report said. For comparison, in the same period of the previous Iranian year this figure was 510,054 tons which means that the production has grown by 3 percent.

Tabas Coal Company accounted to 453,665 tons of the total coal concentrates production, while Central Alborz Coal Company accounted to only 69,282 tons.

In the nine months, Tabas and Central Alborz Coal Companies extracted 1,315,569 tons of coal, which is 18 percent more compare to the same period of the previous Iranian year (1,113,560 tons).

Moreover, Tabas and Central Alborz Coal Companies extracted 1,192,624 and 122,945 tons of mining materials, respectively.

During the reported period, the volume of coal concentrate the two companies delivered to clients increased from 565,437 tons to 509,873 tons, thus showed a 11 percent growth. Separately, Tabas and Central Alborz companies delivered 479,534 tons and 85,903 tons of coal concentrate, respectively.

In the ninth month of the current Iranian year, the two companies produced 63,631 tons of coal concentrate, extracted 173,257 tons of mining materials in total and supplied 69,958 tons of coal concentrate to clients.
