Agricultural exports of Iran's Hamadan province exceed $31M

In the first nine months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018) agricultural exports of Iran's Hamadan province exceeded $31 million and the agricultural goods accounted for 28 percent of the province's total exports, the head of Hamadan Province Industry, Mine and Trade Organization Hamid Reza Matin said, Trend reports via SHATA.

He noted that Hamadan's raising exports amounted to $16.3 million and comprised 14.8 percent of the province's total exports.

The province also exported dairy products worth $9.96 million, Matin said, adding that Hamadan, in total, 38 names of agricultural products.

During the reported period, Hamadan's exports reached 302,511 tons in terms of weight and exceeded $110 million in terms of value, he added.

Matin noted that during the period of nine months, the province exported 228 types of products to 35 countries. He further added that the main export destinations of the province were the US, the UK, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Belgium, Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Belarus, Russia, Australia, Turkey, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE, Iraq, Syria, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Sudan, Kenya, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

For comparison, in the same period of the previous Iranian year, 111 types of products were exported to 28 countries.
