Azerbaijan is preparing the State Fisheries Development Program, Agriculture Minister Inam Karimov said, Trend reports Jan. 29.
He was speaking at a conference dedicated to the results of implementation of the State Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Azerbaijani Districts in 2014-2018.
He noted that the new document will reflect the main laws and regulations aimed at supporting this segment of agriculture.
The minister said that new rules on the use of agricultural land are being prepared in Azerbaijan.
Karimov noted that the rules should be transparent, flexible and should meet the interests of farmers.
On Jan. 29, Baku hosted a conference dedicated to the results of the implementation of the State Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Azerbaijani Districts in 2014-2018.
The event was attended by about 200 entrepreneurs and representatives of the public sector. As part of the conference, entrepreneurs were able to give questions to ministers and heads of various government agencies, submit complaints and suggestions.
