Number of civil aviation aircraft in Turkey for 2018 dropped slightly

In 2018, the number of aircraft in the realm of civil aviation of Turkey saw a slight decrease, when compared to the figures from 2017, Turkey’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation told Trend.

According to the Directorate General, the number of aircraft in the civil aviation system of Turkey for 2018 made up 515 units, while in 2017 it reached 517 units.

By the end of 2018, the largest number of aircraft in the civil aviation system of Turkey accounted for the Turkish Airlines (THY), with 309 units.
