New brands to appear in Azerbaijan’s wine market

Azerbaijan’s wine producer Sheki Sherab OJSC will present its brands Bouquet Sheki and Askona, Director of the company Vidadi Hasanov told Trend.

He said that wines under the brands Bouquet Sheki and Askona will be produced from the grape varieties such as Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, Madrasa, Muscat, Chardonnay and Merlot collected in Azerbaijan.

“These wines of very high quality are entirely Azerbaijani products, they are made according to European technologies,” Hasanov said.

He noted that in the coming days these wines will be presented in almost all major trade facilities of Azerbaijan.

At the same time, the plant plans to export wines to Belgium, China and Kazakhstan, he added.

“We sent samples of the produced wine to Belgium, China and Kazakhstan, our products were highly appreciated, and we plan to sign contracts with companies from these countries,” Hasanov said.

In 2018, the plant Sheki Sherab OJSC received 724.9 tons of grapes and produced 500,000 liters of wine materials.
