The total capital of Azerbaijani companies registered in Turkey in 2018 increased 2.4 times, the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) told Trend.
The total capital of Azerbaijani companies registered in 2018 amounted to 311.6 million Turkish liras, while in 2017, the total capital of registered Azerbaijani companies amounted to 125 million Turkish liras, TOBB noted.
In 2018, there were 1,034 companies with Azerbaijani capital in Turkey, which is 305 more than in 2017.
In 2018, Azerbaijani companies mainly opened in Istanbul, TOBB added.
In 2018, 140 companies were registered in Istanbul, which is 119 more compared to 2017.
Also, 20 industrial, 16 construction and 84 wholesale and retail companies and three real estate companies were registered in Turkey in 2018, according to TOBB.
