Indian company plans to create business accelerator in Uzbekistan

India's National Small Industries Corporation is planning to create a business accelerator in the Syrdarya Region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to the Uzbek media.

Representatives of the National Small Industries Corporation visited Uzbekistan on February 7-9 to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Scientific-Practical Center for Implementation of Innovative Developments under the Uzbek Ministry of Innovation Development.

"The project is aimed at employing young people, attracting them to entrepreneurship, developing small business and home-based labor, as well as vocational guidance of students,” the Ministry of Innovation Development reported.

During the negotiations, the parties planned to introduce this experience in other regions of Uzbekistan as well.

Uzbekistan and India intend to create a technopark of software and innovative products in Tashkent. Indian specialists' main task is to introduce advanced and long-term experience gained by India in the creation and organization of technology parks.
