What countries did Turkish citizens visited in January 2019 to find work?

In January 2019, 1,600 Turkish citizens went to foreign countries via the Turkish Employment Agency (ISKUR), which is 5.33 percent less than in January 2018, Trend reports referring to ISKUR.

Most those who went abroad via ISKUR opted for Russia.

In January 2019, 258 Turkish citizens went to Russia via ISKUR, which is 66.45 percent more compared to the same month of 2018, the agency said.

Also, 189 Turkish citizens went to Algeria, 182 to Germany and 171 to Saudi Arabia.

In January 2019, the number of Turkish citizens who went to Algeria for work decreased by 38.03 percent, the number of those who opted for Germany, on the contrary, increased by 100 percent.

Moreover, the number of Turkish citizens, who chose Saudi Arabia, went up by 4.27 percent compared to January 2018.

In January 2019, Turkish citizens did not visit Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, France and Jordan via ISKUR.

In January 2019, 83,400 people were provided with jobs in Turkey, which is 5 percent more compared to the same month in 2018.
