Starting from 2021, the Japanese automaker Honda will begin production of the Civic model with an electric motor in Turkey, Trend reports via the Turkish media.
In this regard, the company has begun negotiations with the Turkish authorities.
This intention of the Japanese company was reported in September 2017.
Turkey ranks sixth in Europe in car production. Models of Ford, FIAT, Renault, Toyota, Honda, Opel, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz and MAN are currently assembled in Turkey.
