Iranian company to build brick factory in Kazakhstan

Iranian company Faradid Meehan is going to build a brick factory in the Baydibek District of Kazakhstan’s Turkistan region, said the company’s International Relations Director Abdolreza Shohud Talab.

During the meeting with the Iranian investor, the district governor Bakytbek Tanagozov expressed his intention to establish cooperation in industry with Iranian entrepreneurs, Trend reports via Kazakh media.

The Iranian businessman, in turn, expressed his willingness to cooperate by investing in the Baydibek District.

As a result of the negotiations, a Memorandum of understanding was signed. Within the framework of the document, a land plot was allocated in the special industrial area of the district and an agreement on the construction of a brick factory was signed.

Faradid Meehan intends to produce 7 types of bricks at the new factory. The company plans to provide jobs for about 200 people, and produce 4-5 million bricks a month, and 60-70 million bricks in a year. After the implementation of the project, it is planned to invest about 10 million tenge next year.
