The Bileh Savar-Germi highway in Iran’s north-western Ardabil Province will have four lanes, Hassan Ghobadi, mayor of Bileh Savar County of Iran’s Ardabil Province, told IRNA, Trend reports.

According to Ghobadi, the road will be expanded during the spring of the coming Iranian year (begins March 21, 2018).

Ghobadi said that the work will be carried out in a 40-km road between Gug Tappeh and Germi, in cooperation with Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters.

"Taking into account the international trade and agricultural potential of the Bileh Savar County, it is important for the county roads to be four-laned," he said.

Bileh Savar County of Iran’s Ardabil Province is located on the border with Azerbaijan.
