Since the beginning of 2019, the Azerbaijani company Avtometall significantly reduced sales of spare parts for trucks, a source in the company told Trend.
The source noted that the company implements the order and sale of spare parts for HOWO, Shacman, Daf, Man, Mercedes and other trucks.
"The situation in the auto parts market in Azerbaijan is not very simple; sales have significantly decreased. We import the necessary components from China and sell them in Azerbaijan. We also accept exclusive orders for spare parts that are not in the market," the source said.
A decline in sales has been observed since 2018, according to the source.
"This trend has been observed since the second half of 2018. In previous years there were no significant problems in the sales of spare parts," the source added.
