IMIDRO's concentrated coal production increases

During the 10 months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), concentrated coal production by Tabas Parvadeh and Central Alborz coal companies has increased by 4 percent, Trend reports referring to the website of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

Tabas Parvadeh and Central Alborz coal companies produced 594,300 tons of concentrated coal by the end of the 10th month of the year, while the figures stood at 572,100 tons during the same period last year.

Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company, located in the South Khorasan Province, produced 515,900 tons of concentrated coal, with the Central Alborz Coal Company, located in the Mazandaran Province, produced 78,100 tons.

Also, the companies extracted 1.49 million tons of coal over the past 10 months - a 24 percent increase compared to the same period last year (1.2 million tons).

Tabas Parvadeh extracted 1.36 million tons of coal and Central Alborz extracted 137,100 tons.

The volume of concentrated coal sent by these companies to their customers during the said period rose by 11 percent to 631,100 tons, compared to the same period last year (567,300 tons). Thus, Tabas Parvadeh sent 534,000 tons to the customers, while Central Alborz sent 97,300 tons.

South Khorasan’s Tabas Parvadeh and Mazandaran’s Central Alborz coal companies operate under the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
