AzVIRT, an Azerbaijani construction company , is carrying out mobilization in connection with the start of reconstruction of a highway in Serbia, a source at the company told Trend.
The project cost will be 207 million euros, the source noted.
"This is a large-scale road project, which is carried out with the joint participation of Chinese partners. Project financing is also provided by one of major Chinese banks. Currently, preparatory work is being carried out before construction. The project involves the construction of roads and related road infrastructure in Serbia," the source said.
AzVIRT is one of the well-known road construction contractors in Azerbaijan and is engaged in the construction of roads, runways, airports.
In addition to the construction and design of roads and large objects, the company is engaged in the production of building materials, including asphalt concrete mixtures, fractional rubble, activated mineral powder.
