In the next three months, the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine and Uzbekugol will receive 20 newest robotic trucks of the Belarusian Automobile Plant (Belaz),Trend reports via Uzbek media.
The leading Russian developer and supplier of robotized systems for the mining industry VIST group will conduct digitalization of trucks.
At present, the main consumers of robotic and digital systems in the mining industry in Uzbekistan are the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine and the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, as well as Uzbekcoal. They are also the main consumers of industrial vehicles, in particular Belaz trucks.
The installed automated control system of the Karyer mining and transport complex makes it possible to increase the productivity of the excavator-dumping complex by 5-15 percent. The cost of operating equipment will be reduced 8 percent. At the same time, cost reduction due to fuel economy will be 5-10 percent. The duration of non-technological downtime will be reduced to 80 percent.
The system allows you to save an average of $ 1.3 million per year to enterprises with a production volume of 10 million tons. The system is already used in more than 70 quarries.
