Uzbekistan has taken measures to stabilize prices for meat and dairy products, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
Presidential decree "On the organization of the State Committee of Veterinary and Livestock Development of Uzbekistan" states that information.
The decree notes that the procedure for insuring livestock will be developed, and a Tashkent branch of the Samarkand Veterinary Medicine Institute will be created.
The press service of the Ministry of Justice stressed that in order to ensure the stability of prices for meat and dairy products in each region, at least two enterprises specializing in feeding cattle for slaughter, as well as organizations specializing in the production of milk and dairy products, will be created.
In addition, the document approved the forecast indicators of livestock, meat and dairy products for 2019-2020.
The figures show that it is planned to cultivate 13, 825 head of livestock and produce of 3.646,300 tons of meat and 11.882,500 tons of milk by 2021.
