Uzbekistan to use Swiss technologies in construction of high-tech scanner plant

A high-tech plant for the production of scanners by technology of the Swiss company Tudor Tech will be built in Jizzak region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports via Uzbek media.

This was provided for in a memorandum of cooperation signed by the Digital Trust Foundation and the International Aerospace Committee. The parties intend to provide the necessary administrative and legal support to each other, as well as consultations on the issues raised to assist in the implementation of the joint project.

One of the first initiatives in the implementation of the memorandum will be the transfer of technology from the Swiss company Tudor Tech, which is the first and only company in the world with X-ray scanning technology for aircraft and other types of transport.

The equipment of the Swiss company is an effective tool for detecting the facts of illegal transportation of explosives, weapons, drugs, cash and provides 100 percent detection of threats.

It is planned that scanners manufactured in Uzbekistan will ensure the safety of airports not only in the country, but also throughout Central Asia. In implementing this ambitious project, the International Aerospace Committee will assist the fund by attracting investments from Switzerland.

The parties also agreed to work together to attract funding for other high-tech projects in the field of aviation, space, energy and land resources in Uzbekistan.
