Azerbaijan’s BirKart BOKT LLC, founded by Kapital Bank, plans to increase the number of its branches, Trend reports referring to the bank.
According to the information, negotiations are underway with several large retail chains for opening new branches.
It is expected that an additional 4-5 branches will be opened by the end of the year. The names of the trade networks in the bank were not reported due to the ongoing negotiations.
On April 3, 2019, the first branch of the non-bank commercial organization (NBCO) was opened in Baku.
The main purpose of establishing this branch is to issue cards that allow customers to use interest-free installments in affiliate stores and other points of sale. At the same time, customers, without leaving the store, can get a BirKart card and purchase the desired product in installments without overpayment, with the possibility of receiving from 1.5 percent to 30 percent cashback when paying for products and services.
BirKart can be purchased by clients who do not receive salaries or pensions through Kapital Bank cards. For this, all persons over 18 can apply either to one of the branches of BirKart BOKT LLC or to any branch of Kapital Bank.
BirKart BOKT LLC, founded by Kapital Bank OJSC, commenced operations from November 5, 2018 on the basis of a license issued by the Financial Market Supervisory Authority of Azerbaijan (FIMSA).
