Prices for goods in Kazakhstan exported abroad in February 2019 decreased by 0.1 percent compared to the previous month, while for imported goods - by 0.1 percent, Trend reports with reference to the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan.
In February of this year, compared to December 2018, prices for goods exported by Kazakhstan abroad decreased by 1.5 percent, for imported goods - increased by 1.5 percent. In January-February 2019, compared to the same period last year, Kazakhstan’s exports went up by 11.1 percent, imports - by 8.5 percent.
From the beginning of the year, the fall in prices for export deliveries was fixed for rolled ferrous metals - by 5.3 percent, ferroalloys - by 3 percent, aluminum - by 2.7 percent, copper - by 2.3 percent, zinc - by 1.5 percent, chromium ores - by 1.7 percent, oil - by 0.7 percent, increase - by coal by 14.7 percent, copper ore - by 4.5 percent, lead - by 4 percent, portland cement - by 3.7 percent and iron ores - by 0.6 percent.
The growth of prices was noted for wheat - by 3.5 percent, barley - by 1.9 percent, cotton - by 1.1 percent and wool - by 0.4 percent.
Considering the imported products; vegetables went up by 28 percent, sausages - by 4.8 percent, fish - by 3.2 percent, sugar - by 2.3 percent, poultry meat - by 2.2 percent, dairy products - by 1.9 percent, tea - by 1.8 percent, margarine - by 1.6 percent, coffee - by 1.2 percent, vegetable oil fell by 0.6 percent.
Prices for plastic increased by 3.1 percent, shoes - by 2.6 percent, paper - by 2 percent, construction materials - by 1.7 percent and leather - by 0.4 percent.
