Over 1,000 export licenses issued in Iran’s Gilan province

Last Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), the General Directorate of Standardization of Iran’s Gilan province issued 1,020 export licenses, Director of the General Directorate of Standardization of Gilan Province Dariush Ashkanipour said, Trend reports via IRNA.

He said that the number of licenses has increased by 75 percent compared to the previous year.

He added that the main exported products were dates, raisins, mining materials and reinforced fittings.

“These products were exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan,” he said.

He noted that 361 inspections were also carried out last Iranian year on the assessment of the imported products.

He added that the imported products included animal feed (corn, barley, millet, press cake), wheat, steel sheets and paper.

“These products were imported from Russia, Kazakhstan and China,” he said.
