By Matanat Nasibova – Trend:

Sales of agricultural equipment by the Azerbaijani-Turkish Kaspi-Yildiz joint venture decreased markedly compared to the figures of last year, Deputy Director of the company Jamaladdin Aliyev told Trend.

According to the Deputy Director, the decline in sales made up 30 percent. "The decline in sales of our products usually occurs in winter, or during the first 4 months of the year, then the market situation gradually evens out. This is due to the sales market of agricultural equipment being less active in the winter period than during the other seasons of the year," said Aliyev.

In addition to the production and sales of agricultural equipment, the company is engaged in the production of fire-fighting equipment, as well as the installation of fire and security equipment systems, he added.

Aliyev noted that Kaspi-Yildiz JV is one of the first private companies that has been engaged in industrial production since 1995.
