In the 1Q2019, 55 companies with Azerbaijani capital were registered in Turkey, which is 11 companies more compared to the 1Q2018, the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) told Trend.
The total capital of Azerbaijani companies registered in the 1Q2019 amounted to 8.442 million Turkish liras, while in the 1Q2018, the total capital of registered Azerbaijani companies amounted to 7.185 million Turkish liras, TOBB noted.
In March 2019, 13 companies with Azerbaijani capital were registered in Turkey, according to TOBB.
TOBB noted that in the 1Q2019, the largest number of companies with Azerbaijani capital was registered in Istanbul (44 companies).
In the Q2019, eight construction companies with Azerbaijani capital, 25 retail and wholesale, three transport companies, four tourism companies and one financial-insurance company were registered in Turkey. The rest of of the Azerbaijani companies (14) operate in various other sectors.
