By Matanat Nasibova – Trend:

ASPI AGRO LLC producing wine in Azerbaijan’s Gabala city has expanded the range of products since early 2019, Aygun Atayeva, chief sales manager, told Trend.

“The company has begun to produce new products obtained as a result of fruit processing,” she said.

"Earlier the company mainly focused on the production of grape wine,” Atayeva added. “Presently, the company produces wine distillate made of various fruits. For example, the company produces cornel berry distillate, mulberry distillate, grape and pear distillates. At the same time, the company plans to produce brandy in the future."

She stressed that the company annually produces one million bottles of wine.

"It is important for us to meet modern quality standards,” Atayeva said. “So the company focuses on the quality of products, rather than on quantity. Perhaps that is why Savalan wines are in great demand both in the domestic market and outside the country."

ASPI AGRO LLC was founded in 2007.
