American company to supply large lot of agricultural equipment to Uzbekistan

John Deere company and Uztextileprom signed an agreement to supply large quantities of agricultural equipment to Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to Uztextileprom.

Uztextileprom discussed the issue with the delegation of John Deere, during a meeting in Tashkent.

The press service of Uztekstilprom did not announce the value of the contract, as well as what equipment would be supplied to the country.

During the talks, the US side noted that the cluster form of organization of cotton and textile production introduced in Uzbekistan to form market relations between farms and enterprises of the textile industry will allow to further increase the production of raw cotton.

In early April, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree in accordance with which 30 percent of the costs of cotton harvesting services will be reimbursed to the agricultural enterprises of Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Syrdarya and Tashkent regions.
