Uzbekistan reveals total income of population for 1Q2019

The total income of the population of Uzbekistan in the first quarter of 2019 increased by 8.6 percent to 64.9 trillion soums ($7,668,992,573), Trend reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

The total per capita income was 1.948 million soums, the real total income was 1.719 million soums.

Comprehensive income is gross income before deducting mandatory or other deductions from it.

It includes cash incomes and in-kind incomes, as well as repetitive incomes and come into the household or its individual members on a regular basis.

The highest average per capita total income was recorded in Tashkent - 4.7 million soums, Navoi - 2.9 million soums, Bukhara - 2.2 million soums and Tashkent region - 2.1 million soums.

The lowest indicator was recorded in Namangan and Fergana - 1.4 million soums and Surkhandarya regions - 1.5 million soums.

The main income of the population comes from labor activity - 66 percent and transfers - 26.1 percent. Property income accounts for 5.3 percent.

In the structure of income from social transfers (pensions, allowances, scholarships and others) accounted for 47.3 percent, others (money transfers from other countries and others) - 52.7 percent.

Changes in the size of pensions, allowances and scholarships contributed to a 3.5 percent increase in the total income of the population.

The share of remittances from abroad in total income of the population was 13.7 percent.
