The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan intends to open a center for processing livestock products in another Azerbaijani district, Sakina Babayeva, the head of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, told Trend.
"A similar center for washing and cleaning of sheep wool and hides is expected to open in Azerbaijani Tovuz district," Babayeva added.
"Earlier, similar centers were planned to open in Imishli and Bilasuvar districts," she said. "The work in this direction has already begun. The residents of the districts will be provided with jobs and an opportunity will be created to export the processed animal products. We intend to open such centers in 10 more Azerbaijani districts."
"These products are planned to be exported to Turkey and South Korea," she said.
The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan was created with the support of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan and was established in October 2017.
Over 143,000 women are engaged in business in Azerbaijan, according to the statistics.
