The Turkmen enterprise Maks Food Technology (MFT) exported several tens of tons of natural juices and nectars to Russia in late 2018, with the volume of exports set to be increased this year, Trend reports referring to the Neytralni Turkmenistan newspaper.

Entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan’s Dashoguz Region have been so far the only national producers of juices and nectars from natural raw materials without the use of preservatives, coloring agents, flavors and thickeners.

MFT products are certified by the customs union, meet the TR TS 021/2011 requirements of the technical regulations of the customs union and have EAC certificates. The company mini-plant is equipped with Dutch equipment for cleaning and washing vegetables and fruits, Austrian equipment for the production of direct-pressed juice, and Ukrainian equipment for the production of ketchup and mayonnaise.

"The quality of the raw product used to prepare juices of direct extraction is strictly controlled. Ripe fruits and vegetables are carefully selected, washed, crushed and pressed. Juices are filtered, bottled in sterile glass containers and then pasteurized in a way ensuring microbiological safety and the maximum preservation of nutrients," the article reads.

It is planned to expand the range of products this year. The company will produce apple, carrot, apple-carrot, pumpkin, pomegranate, and beetroot natural juices and nectars, as well as lecso, assorted eggplants and bell peppers, three types of tomato sauce and several types of vegetable caviar.
