Georgia, Romania to develop trade relations

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Chamber of Commerce of Georgia and Romania, Trend reports with reference to the Chamber of Commerce of Georgia.

The document was signed by Nino Chikovani, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Georgia, and her Romanian counterpart, Mihai Daraban, in Bucharest, Romania.

The Memorandum aims to enhance cooperation, the development of trade relations between the two countries and the achievement of common economic goals, taking into account strategic location in the Black Sea region.

"The Memorandum of Understanding will facilitate the dialogue between business circles of the two countries. Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is conducting many activities, including cooperation platform, such as organizing business forums, which enable entrepreneurs to cooperate successfully," Nino Chikovani said.

President of the Chamber Nino Chikovani and General Director Grigol Baiburti participated in the conference "Sustainable Development of the Black Sea Region", which was held in Bucharest under the chairmanship of the EU Council of Romania.
