The Azerbaijani company Agronaft plans to start importing mineral fertilizers, Zaur Rashidov, financial manager of the company, told Trend.
He said that this decision was made in connection with the company’s multidirectional activities in the field of agriculture.
“We plan to import mineral fertilizers from Russia for domestic sales, and we are actively looking for potential partners in this market segment,” he noted. “We have certain proposals that we will discuss with our Russian partners.”
The financial manager noted that the company will import and sell fertilizers for the first time.
“For us, this market is completely new, so at the first stage we are going to purchase small volumes of products,” he said. “Of course, we will increase supplies in the future if the products are in great demand in Azerbaijan.”
Rashidov added that the company is engaged in the purchase and sale of agricultural equipment and import of cattle.
