In 2019, Sheki Sherab LLC, an Azerbaijani winery, plans to increase production volumes, the winery’s director Vidadi Hasanov told Trend.

He said that in 2017, the plant received 300 tons of grapes for wine production, and last year this figure increased twofold.

“In 2018, the volume of grapes delivered to the plant amounted to 725 tons,” he noted. “The grapes were delivered by farmers of several Azerbaijani regions, including Oguz, Gabala, Yevlakh, etc. Our plant’s capacity is designed to process 3,000 tons of grapes.”

The director noted that the plant produced 500,000 liters of wine in 2018.

“This year we intend to double this figure,” the director added.

Sheki Sherab LLC was founded in 2006 with design production capacity of 280,000 bottles of wine. The company has equipment of the Italian company “Della Toffola.”

There are workshops for receiving grapes, production and bottling of various brands of wine at the plant.

At the same time, the plant has two bunkers for receiving white and red grape varieties. The plant also has two production lines for white and red wines, and one more line for the production of elite wines.
