Sri Lanka Tea Board, a tea producing company located in Sri Lanka, plans to increase its exports to Azerbaijan, said Tishan de Silva, Sales Manager of the company, Trend reports.

According to him, the company is actively seeking new channels to sell its products in Azerbaijan.

“We have been working with Azerbaijani partners for five years, and during this period we have formed a certain client base thanks to cooperation with several companies in the country. Given stable demand for our products in the local market, we want to increase the supply of tea to Azerbaijan," he said.

"We offer quality products in a wide range, grown in different regions of Sri Lanka, where several varieties of tea differing in their taste and smell are produced. For sale, we offer black velvet tea in 100 and 250 gram packages, as well as in one and three kilogram packages. The cost of the 100 gram tea package is $6,” added Tishan de Silva.

The Sales Manager noted that the company is ready to supply more than 35 varieties of tea to Azerbaijan.
