Creating diversity in petrochemical products would increase the chance of more export and development of Iran's economy, an Iranian MP said.
"We should move towards completing the chain of products with determination and create diverse petrochemical products to expand country's economy," said Ali Adyani Rad, member of Iranian parliament's energy committee, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"Iran's petrochemical industry is going forward thanks to our human resources and foreign pressure can't stop this development," he said.
"Officials have predicted the possible US sanctions against Iran's petrochemical industry, therefore, despite limitations, the necessary measures have been taken," he added.
"The US won't be able to limit Iran's petrochemical exports," he noted.
