The major Shanghai market Shanghai Huizhan Fruit & Vegetable Market Management Co Ltd held a ceremony of receiving the first ever export batch of Uzbek cherry, Trend reports via State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan.
The 30-ton export was made from Fergana Region of Uzbekistan and it is to be realized in Shanghai and in two of its neighboring provinces: Zhejiang and Jiangsu.
More than 200 people attended the ceremony, including members of Shanghai Customs Administration, entrepreneurs and journalists.
Furthermore, following this test batch it is expected that the export volume will be increased up to 2,600 tons in order to realize it on the area of the popular online market of China Tmall.
