Solar plant construction cancelled in Kazakhstan

The project to build a solar energy plant in Turkestan region of Kazakhstan, through financing of South Korean investors, was cancelled, Trend reports referring to LS news agency.

The project on plant construction was agreed upon in 2018 and it was estimated that the construction will take three or five years.

Furthermore, the plant was to be constructed in Baidibek settlement of Kazakhstan’s Turkestan region. The estimated output capacity equaled 10 MW.

“Currently the construction of the plant by companies of South Korea was cancelled due to the lack of interest from South Korean party,” the report said.
