Kazakh citizens purchased 256 real estate properties in Turkey in January-May 2019, which is 103 properties more compared to the same period of 2018, the Turkish State Agency for Land Cadastre, Purchase and Sale told Trend.
Kazakh citizens prefer to buy real estate properties in Antalya province and in Istanbul city.
In May 2019, they bought 71 real estate properties in Turkey , which is 43 real estate properties more compared to the same month of 2018.
In May 2019, 82,200 real estate properties were sold in Turkey as a whole, which is 31.3 percent more compared to the same month of 2018.
During the reporting period, 15,800 real estate properties were sold in Istanbul, 8,200 real estate properties in Ankara and 5,000 real estate properties in Antalya.
The remaining 53,200 real estate properties account for other Turkish cities.
In May 2019, 3,900 real estate properties were sold to foreigners in Turkey, which is 62.5 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.
During this period, Iraqi citizens purchased 594 real estate properties in Turkey, Iranian citizens - 509 real estate properties and Russian citizens - 285 real estate properties.
