The gross volume of production of agriculture sector of Kazakhstan increased by 3.7 percent during five months of 2019, Trend reports referring to press office of Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
Furthermore, the manufacturing volume of food products increased by 1.2 percent, whereas the manufacturing volume of beverages increased by 18.9 percent. The volume of investments into the sector amounted to 124.3 billion tenge, which is 52.2 percent more than in the same period of last year.
Kazakhstan’s measures on expansion of export markets allowed to increase volume of agriculture products export by 11.2 percent to almost $900 million.
The increase of gross volume of production in animal husbandry amounted to 3.6 percent. As reported, a number of measures were taken in crop production for ensuring that sowing season of 2019 meets the deadline. The funding of cultivation work amounted to 60 billion tenge. Currently all regions have completed sowing campaign. The area of cultivation work amounted to 19 million ha.
