A shop selling Turkmen carpets, rugs, national souvenirs and textiles has opened in Dubai (UAE), Trend reports referring to Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry.
A solemn ceremony was held in the Al Fattan Marine Towers shopping center. Earlier, it was reported that the store will be located on an area of 84 square meters.
Along with retail sale, the entrepreneurs intend to organize wholesale trade in a wide range of the Turkmen goods and to use internet for this purpose.
Turkmen carpets are one of the country's famous brands, widely known beyond its borders. One of the main advantages of the carpet is its high density, which ranges from 200,000 to 400,000 knots in one square meter. Due to its high density, the carpet ornament is clear and expressive.
