Glass plant to be constructed in Kazakhstan

The construction of a glass plant worth $145 million is to be launched in Ekibastuz city of Kazakhstan’s Pavlodar region, Trend reports with reference to LS news agency.

“InturService-Puls, which is a local manufacturer of paper and paper products, is an initiator of the project,” the report said.

“The estimated cost of the construction equals to $145 million. A part of the sum is to be paid though involvement of English company Carterhouse,” the statement said.

“The output capacity of the plant will be 450 tons of product a day, totaling to 140,000 tons a year. Part of the manufactured product will be exported to Russia, whereas the rest of the product will be sold in Kazakhstan,” the source said.

“The construction work of the plant will be finished by 2021,’ the statement said.
