Dried fruit producer in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan increases output

Dadli Nakhchivan Mahsullari, a company in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR), engaged in the production and trade of dried fruits, plans to increase output by the end of 2019, a source at the company told Trend.

The source noted that the increase can be up to 20 percent.

"We are increasing our output to boost our export potential. Currently, the company is preparing to expand its production line. Our products are in significant demand in the domestic market, as well as in several countries of the former Soviet Union. In the near future, the company plans to increase the volume of exports to Russia and to a number of other countries. At the moment, we are actively studying the European markets and preparing to start exporting to Montenegro and Poland," the source said.

The source also noted that the company plans to mainly export raisins to these countries.

"We also consider exporting wines and condensed grape and mulberry syrups (doshab)," the source added.
