Azerbaijani meat & dairy manufacturer eyes to expand product varieties

The Azerbaijani company “Sab”, which is engaged in manufacturing of meat and dairy products, is working on the development of new types of dairy products, a source in the company told Trend.
The source noted that the company is working on the development of new types of cheese.
“We are engaged in establishing a new dairy production line,” the source added. “We plan to increase the varieties of cheese products by the end of this year. This is related to the stable sale of dairy products, as well as to growing market demand."
According to the source, there is an active competition in local meat and dairy products’ markets, and this in turn requires the company not only to meet the best quality standards, but also to expand the customer base. "Accordingly, we are trying to meet all the modern requirements,” the source added.
The company intends to increase its export potential, so that local products enter new foreign markets under the national brand “Made in Azerbaijan.”
The company produces 60 types of meat and 50 types of dairy products. The company’s production plant is located in Khirdalan city near Baku.
