A "smart village" will be built in Atbasar settlement of Kazakhstan’s Akmola region, Trend reports with reference to the press office of the region’s akimat (administrative center).

The construction is to be implemented by Ualikhan Arypov, who is the major agricultural producer of the region. He made the statement within the visit of the Region’s Governor Ermek Marzhikpayev to Pokrovka village.

“The village will be an agricultural town. First and foremost we plan to construct 50 individual houses for the workers,” Arypov said.

Furthermore, there are plans to implement an investment project worth 1.5 billion tenge on the territory of the village. New food plant on cereal and grain manufacturing is to be launched here in 2020. Raw materials will be supplied by ‘Aryp Agro’ company. Entire process of deep oat processing will be automatized.
