Turkey exported $1.9 billion worth of motor vehicles and tractors (including their parts) in June 2019, which is 9.7 percent less compared to June 2018, the Turkish Ministry of Customs and Trade told Trend.
The second place is held by various equipment, mechanisms and nuclear reactors (including their parts) in the amount of $1.040 billion, which is 16 percent less compared to June 2018.
"Iron and steel worth $660 million rank third in the list of exported goods, which is 23.7 percent less compared to June 2018," the ministry said. It was noted that textiles come fourth at $710 million, which is 20.7 percent less than in June 2018.
"Electrical goods hold the fifth place in the list of exported goods at $543 million, which is 17.6 percent less compared to June 2018," the ministry said.
Turkey’s foreign trade amounted to $26 billion in June 2019.
In the reported period, Turkish exports decreased by 14.3 percent (when compared to June 2018) and amounted to $11.8 billion. Turkey's imports in June 2019 decreased by 22.7 percent (compared to June 2018) and amounted to $14.2 billion.
