Turkey’s trade turnover with Turkic-speaking countries increased by $78.5 million and reached $3.657 billion in January-June 2019, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
The export of the Turkish goods to these countries reached $2.050 billion in January-June 2019, which is 4.6 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.
"The import of goods by Turkey from Turkic-speaking countries in January-June 2019 reached $1.606 billion, which is 0.9 percent less compared to the same period of 2018," the ministry said.
The export of the Turkish goods to the Turkic-speaking countries reached $2.93 billion, while import from these countries - $1.92 billion in June 2019.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $26 billion in June 2019.
The export of the Turkish goods decreased by 14.3 percent and reached $11.8 billion in June 2019 compared to June 2018.
The import of goods by Turkey decreased by 22.7 percent and reached $14.2 billion in June 2019 compared to June 2018.
