Iran commissions solar power plant in Isfahan Province

The fifth solar power plant of Iran’s Isfahan Province has been commissioned at Shahreza Industrial Complex, according to the Iranian Energy Ministry, Trend reports referring to the ministry's website.

According to the ministry, the potential of alternative renewable energy plants in Isfahan Province has reached 16 megawatts with the launch of this plant.

According to the report, the station was built by Iran’s Farsan Sanat company, with an investment of 65 billion rials (app. $1.54 million).

The station will prevent 1,371 tons of pollutants from being released into the environment, help save 437 cubic meters of water annually, and will also reduce gas consumption by 560 million liters annually.
