The turnover in the catering sector in Baku amounted to 478.1 million manats in January-June 2019, having increased by 4.4 percent compared to the same period of 2018, Trend reports referring to the report of the Statistics Office in Baku.
"Some 44.3 percent of turnover accounted for legal entities, and 55.7 percent - for individuals," the report says.
During the reporting period, the turnover of legal entities decreased by 2.9 percent compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to 211.6 million manats.
In general, the turnover in the Azerbaijani catering sector amounted to 685.9 million manats in January-June 2019, which is 3.6 percent more than in the same period of 2018.
