In the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21-July 22, 2019), 554,000 tons of goods were transshipped via Bashmakh customs of Iran's Kurdistan province, Director General of Kurdistan province Customs Administration Bakhtiyar Rahmanipour said, Trend reports via IRNA.
The total value of the transshipped goods exceeded $1.43 billion, Rahmanipour said.
He added that 20,500 tons of goods with the total value of $5.88 million were received at Bashmak from foreign countries for domestic transshipment.
Rahmanipour further added that 326,000 tons of goods with the total value of $1.31 billion were transshipped from foreign countries via Bashmakh to third countries.
