Uzbekistan can expand cooperation with Israel in the fields of trade, industrial cooperation and investment, Trend reports with reference to the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Tel Aviv, Said Rustamov, discussed these issues with the President of the Manufacturers Association of Israel (MAI), Shraga Brosh, on August 8, 2019.

Practical steps have been outlined for establishing MAI’s ties with partner organizations in Uzbekistan, organizing mutual visits, conducting presentation events for Israeli business circles on large-scale socio-economic transformations in Uzbekistan and opening up great opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.

Today, MAI is Israel’s largest association of more than 1,500 Israeli enterprises and companies from various sectors and sectors of the economy, which together represent about 95 percent of all industrial products manufactured in Israel, as well as 80 percent of the workforce employed in industry.

The Israeli Industrialists' Association is also an umbrella organization for a number of industry associations of the country, represents the Israeli business community in a number of international structures, and is involved in shaping Israeli trade and investment policies, including with foreign countries.
